There was an interesting thread on Reddit over the weekend about programmers who are blind (or may be going blind). The original post was written by a guy whose doctors told him that his retinas are slowly detaching from the back of his eyes, removing patches of vision over time. It's good to see that some folks have had luck with laser surgery in combination with other techniques. For more severe cases, people have been successful at programming through the use of voice feedback software. |
